1. The total amount spent by your Council on the purchase of food and food products.
The Council spends very little on food and catering. There is nothing provided for Council meetings. There are small amounts paid for sandwiches for lunchtime meetings but we do not hold them separately in our accounts because they are trivial.
Any larger amounts can be seen in our Transparency on Spend. Purchasing Card payments are provided irrespective of size.
2. Of this total, how much was paid to businesses or suppliers based in your local authority area/district.
Information not held.
3. If the Council records whether food or food products were produced in your local authority area/district, please also provide the total amount spent on products produced in this local authority area/district.
Information not held.
I am interested in food purchased for all Council services, including schools, adult social care and other directly provided services.
The Council does not manage schools or adult social care and therefore has no large food catering contracts. You may wish to contact Kent County Council for this information.
