Dear FOI Team, This FOI is for the attention of the council officers who oversee the private rented sector. 1. The total number of Civil Penalties relating to housing offences served to private landlords per year for the following years: 2023/2024 2024/2025 2. The number of Civil Penalties issued to private landlords each year (so 2023/2024 & 2024/2025) for each of the following offences per year:   a) Failure to comply with an Improvement Notice (section 30 of the Housing Act 2004) b) Offences in relation to licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation (section 72 of the Housing Act 2004) c) Offences in relation to licensing of houses under Part 3 of the Act (section 95 of the Housing Act 2004) d) Offences of contravention of an overcrowding notice (section 139 of the Housing Act 2004) e) Failure to comply with management regulations in respect of Houses in Multiple Occupation (section 234 of the Housing Act 2004) f) Banning Orders under the Housing and Planning Act 2016 g) Offences in relation to Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) Regulations h) Smoke and Carbon Monoxide (England) Regulations 2015 3. The total amount of income (£) levied (so before appeals/negotiations/legal costs etc) in Civil Penalties relating to housing offences to private landlords per year for the following years: 2023/2024 2024/2025 4.     The total amount of income (£) collected (after appeals/negotiations/legal costs etc) in Civil Penalties relating to housing offences to private landlords per year for the following years: 2023/2024 2024/2025
