1. What Software Systems are currently used by the Council for A: Planning, Land Charges, Building control B: Public Protection (Licensing / Environmental Health / ASB / Trading Standards)?

2. When does each contract expire ?

3. How much does each system cost annually?

4. Are you planning to go to market for a different Software System? If so, when?

5. How many users / licenses for each system do you have?

6. Who is the person responsible for your Software System? Please provide full name if possible.

Response

1. The following services all use Idox Uniform for their case management:

  • Planning

  • Building Control

  • Land Charges

  • Environmental Health

  • Licensing

Land Charges use a system called Agile.

 

All of the services except Trading Standards which is a Kent County Council service publish content on our website, the content management system is Squiz Matrix.

Online forms are provided through the Granicus GovService platform for these services:

  • Planning

  • Building Control

  • Environmental Health

Mapping services are provided through the ESRI platform for these services:

  • Planning

  • Building Control

  • Land Charges

  • Environmental Health

3. GovService: Tunbridge Wells Borough Council holds the contract for the Customer Service Hub module and the annual cost of this is £28,680. The contract for the other modules is held by Maidstone Borough Council as part of the shared ICT service. Information about the details of that contract will need to be obtained from Maidstone Borough Council
