Please provide information on how many reports or complaints of harassment and unlawful eviction by landlords have been made to Tunbridge Wells Borough Council in each of 2026 (to date), 2025 and 2024.
The Housing Team only started to capture this information in March.
For each complaint/report, please state:
1. How many were investigated;
2 (1 by the Housing Team, and 1 by the Community Safety Team in the period specified)
2. If no investigation was carried out, the reason given (including providing a redacted copy of any email or letter to the complainant); N/A and
3. If an investigation was carried out, the outcome of each investigation.
1 is an ongoing investigation, and 1 was closed after investigation found that the threshold for harassment had not been reached.
Please confirm how many prosecutions have been brought, civil penalty notices issued, fines issued and banning notices issued in respect of harassment and unlawful eviction by landlords in the relevant periods.
No prosecutions, civil penalty notices, fines or banning notices have been processed in respect of harassment and unlawful eviction by landlords in the relevant periods.
