We are seeking to understand how your local authority manage their print and mail distribution channels. Specifically, we would be grateful if you could provide the following information: 1. Details of any i)current contracts or ii)framework agreements in place for print and mail distribution services, including: 1. The names of the contracted suppliers 1. The start and end dates of the contracts 1. Any available contract values or estimated annual spend 1. Information on whether print and mail distribution services are managed centrally, or by individual departments/units. 1. Details of the procurement route(s) used to secure these services (e.g., open tender, framework agreements, Crown Commercial Service frameworks, etc.). 1. Any available policy documents or guidance relating to the procurement and management of print and mail distribution services within your organisation. 1. The name and/or title of the department or role responsible for managing these contracts and services.

Royal Mail via National Leaflet Company

  3.  The start and end dates of the contracts For local magazine - Precision Colour Printing Ltd - March 2025 - December 2025. Contracted to print four editions of the magazine.

  4.  Any available contract values or estimated annual spend For Local magazine - Print spend for the year, approximately £24k

Distribution for the year £22k

  5.  Information on whether print and mail distribution services are managed centrally, or by individual departments/units. Quotes are obtained by the Communications Team for Local magazine.

Otherwise the print requirements are small and each department either uses .GOV print services or print their own in the print room. As far as I am aware there are no policies in place.

 

  6.  Details of the procurement route(s) used to secure these services (e.g., open tender, framework agreements, Crown Commercial Service frameworks, etc.). Three quotes obtained for the print service   7.  Any available policy documents or guidance relating to the procurement and management of print and mail distribution services within your organisation.
