Request
1) Please advise the full details regarding any sale of the land forming any part of St. Mark's Recreation Ground from 1988 to the present date. Information requested to include but not limited to: the date of disposal, the purchase price, the purchaser, valuations obtained, the full reports or formal details and TWBC approvals of any sale whether leasehold or freehold including full conditions of sale including any liens imposed on the sale.
2) Please advise the full details of all expenditure on the Recreation Ground made by TWBC or their contractors including landscaping, drainage works and general maintenance including after any sale.
Response
I am not aware of any sales of TWBC owned land since 2000. Please be aware that TWBC do not own all the land on the St Marks site.
With regards to maintenance the budget for general maintenance to include patch marking (Rugby) and preparations of cricket wickets plus general litter picking and rubbish clearance is £57,133.00.
The Council contributed to projects towards improvement of drainage to rugby pitches, but the rugby club funded the projects using their own resources.
