1. What is the unit count of affordable housing that has been developed, or is currently being developed by the council in the last 5 years.
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is not a stock holding authority as such the council has not (in the last 5 years) and is not currently developing/constructing any new affordable homes. All new build affordable housing erected in the borough are constructed privately by construction development firms acquired and delivered through Register Providers (RPs).
All information on affordable housing provision from s106 agreements is addressed in the Infrastructure Delivery Statement available at Reporting our developer contributions
2. How many social homes/ developments in the last 5 years were agreed with and under Section 106, in order to mitigate the impact of the developments upon surrounding communities? No information held
3. How many of these social homes delivered under Section 106 are currently unoccupied with no buyer or social landlord? Currently there are not any new S106 general needs affordable homes (affordable housing made available to housing register applicants) that remain void (empty) or unable to let initially, this doesn't include Low-Cost Home Ownership affordable homes which encompass Shared Ownership, Discounted Homes & First Homes, which the developers & RPs don't necessarily provide occupation insight to.
4. Are there any Section 106 building sites currently delayed due to uncontracted units, and if so, how many? There aren't any Section 106 Building sites currently delayed due to uncontracted affordable homes units.
