What software is used to manage your PMO projects?
Projects within the council could be using a variety of software including Microsoft Excel, Word and more specialised software.
What software is used to manage your Risk register?

Who is your lead for Project Management?
The Council employs a PMO Lead & Project Manager.
Who controls your risk register?
Internal Audit administer and support the risk management function, however risks are owned by directors and head of service. The Audit and Governance Committee have oversight of the risk register and the risk management function.
Is any part of the organisation using Microsoft Project Online?
Yes
If yes which teams / departments?
Learning & Development. These have a paid licence. All staff can use the version included in the standard licence.
What is your organisations policy in regards to AI and AI solutions?
The Council encourages the responsible use of AI technologies by its employees, contractors, and consultants to improve service delivery and internal operations.
The Council’s approach to AI balances innovation with safeguards, ensuring it enhances, not replaces, human judgement. The Council is looking to explore the use of AI technologies to enhance efficiency and service delivery. The goal is to improve productivity and achieve better outcomes for residents as part of our commitment to continuous improvement.
